The EVER-EST Project
The EU SatCen is currently participating in the H2020 project EVER-EST (European Virtual Environment for Research - Earth Science Themes), started the 1st of October 2015. EVER-EST will enhance Research and Capacity Building in the Earth Science (ES) domain by providing a generic Service Oriented-based Architecture Virtual Research Environment (VRE) tailored to the needs of the ES community. The full range of both generic and ES data management specific services provided by EVER-EST will facilitate the dynamic approach to collaborative working and research. The EU SatCen will be one of the four Virtual Research Communities (VRC) validating the EVER-EST e-infrastructure by implementing a scenario on Land Monitoring for Secure Societies.
