The NextGEOSS Project
The EU SatCen is currently participating in the H2020 project NextGEOSS (Next Generation GEOSS for Business & Innovation), started the 1st of December 2016. NextGEOSS will be the European contribution to the global system being put in place by GEO, providing access to a large number of data sources (including the Sentinel satellites, Copernicus core services and others); it will implement a federated data hub for access and exploitation of Earth Observation data (including tools for data-mining and discovery). The EU SatCen will implement a pilot in the Space and Security domain and it will be the link between NextGEOSS and the GEO Space and Security Community Activity .
