SatCen participates in EU Space Week, 7 - 11 Dec 2020
SatCen will join the EU Space Week also in 2020: but this year, the event will be entirely online.
In this edition, the EU Space Week will focus on how the EU Space Programme is contributing to achieving the European Commission’s priorities for 2019-2024, with sessions on the European Green Deal, the EU Space Programme, and more.
Particular attention will paid to synergies among Galileo, EGNOS, Copernicus and GovSatCom, and how these can foster innovation, growth, and sustainability.
SatCen will participate in a panel dedicated to the Copernicus Programme and its future development. During this session, Denis Bruckert, the SatCen Head of Copernicus Unit, will present the Copernicus Service in Support to EU External Action (SEA) and its status.
Through a set of examples and options for service evolution, Mr Bruckert will provide an overview of the outcomes and challenges of the service, especially in view of newly emerging user demands as well as the EU’s strategic needs.
Join the EU Space Programme - EGNOS, Galileo and Copernicus - for five days packed with user consultations, keynotes, discussions, and conference sessions!
