The Polish Ambassador and the Head of the National Security Bureau of Poland visit SatCen
On 12 April 2018, a delegation from the Polish Embassy in Madrid, headed by H.E. Ambassador Marzenna Adamczyk, and Secretary of State Paweł Soloch, Head of the National Security Bureau of Poland, visited SatCen and were given an overview of the Centre’s activities.
They were welcomed by Deputy Director Giuseppe D’Amico who, together with other SatCen managers, presented the Centre’s operational and capability development activities.
From 2005 to 2008, Mr Paweł Soloch served as Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of the Interior and Administration, and from November 2005 also as Chief of National Civil Defence. He was thereafter advisor to the Head of the National Security Bureau (2008-2010) and an expert at the Sobieski Institute (2010-2014). In 2013, Mr. Soloch was appointed Member of the Board of the Sobieski Institute and from 2014 to 2015 he served as the President of the Institute.
On 7 August 2015, the President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda, appointed him Head of the National Security Bureau in the rank of secretary of state.
