H.E. Ms. Nathalie Loiseau, Minister for European Affairs and H.E. Mr. Yves Saint-Geours, Ambassador of France in Spain, visit SatCen
On 3 May 2018, H.E. Ms Nathalie Loiseau, Minister for European Affairs, together with H.E. Mr. Yves Saint-Geours, Ambassador of France in Spain, visited SatCen and were given an overview of the Centre’s activities.
They were welcomed by Director Pascal Legai and Deputy Director Giuseppe D’Amico who, together with other SatCen managers, presented the Centre’s operational and capability development activities.
Nathalie Loiseau, Minister Plenipotentiary, is a graduate of the Paris Institute of Political Studies and of the French National Institute for Oriental Languages and Civilisations, in Chinese.
She joined the French Foreign Ministry in 1986 and among other positions, has worked at the Press and Communication Directorate, Asia Directorate and United Nations Directorate.
From 1993 to 1995, she worked as a technical adviser at the French Foreign Minister’s Private Office. She has been posted to Jakarta (1990-1992), Dakar (1995-1999), Rabat (1999-2002) and from August 2002 to July 2007, Washington D.C., where she worked as Head of the Press and Information Service at the French Embassy. After working as Head of the North Africa Department (2007-2008), she was appointed Deputy Director of the Middle East and North Africa Directorate at the Quai d’Orsay (2008-2009).
She was Human Resources Director at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs from 2009 to 2011, and in November 2011, Director-General for Administration and Modernization at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Ms Nathalie Loiseau was appointed Director of the French National School of Public Administration (ENA) on 3 October 2012, a position she held until June 2017.
